Adopting my stepchildren

I knew that the moment I married by wife I was also taking on her children. Their father has been absent for a few years, and I want them to know that they are my children as well no matter what happens. Their father is fine with us going ahead with formalising the adoption, so I'm glad to think that we can make it official that we are a family and we will be together no matter what.
